The Scope encourages you to comment! However we reserve the right to remove any comments we find offensive or slanderous. If a commenter repeatedly abuses our comment policy we may ban their IP/e-mail address. 

Comments are semi-monitored. That means comments containing certain words and phrases will not automatically appear on the website. These comments must first be approved by The Scope.

As much as we monitor all comments on the site, we rely on our readers to inform us of abuse. Please report an offensive or slanderous comment by sending an e-mail to editor@thescope.ca.
